Looks like statistics say having a vocation as a Clergy is the most satisfying job people look forward to going to.
Which jobs provide the most satisfaction?
Looking more and more forward to it
haha!
In a connecting note, I have unofficially (which means the paperwork is in, the registrar has ok’d, but still waiting upon official documentation) transferred into Tyndale’s MDiv in Worship Program. It was once cancelled, but it is still available to take if I take worship courses in conjunction with Robert Webber’s Institute for Worship Studies in Florida. So I am FINALLY getting to do what I felt God was calling me to ALL ALONG!
Big ups to John Baik for showing me how to get this going! Hallelujah!
Peace!
Just wanted to mention:
Two weeks ago in Apologetics class, Dr. Beverley (my Apologetics teacher at Tyndale) got a call in the middle of class and guess who it was?
Francis Collins
…who is the head of the Human Genome Project and currently debating much of what Charles Dawkins is saying against a creator God…
Hearing him on speakerphone was QUITE amazing!
Anyways, read up a bit on this scientist’s take on Reconciling God and Science.
I subscribe to the Mars Hill Church (Seattle, Mark Driscoll) podcast and sometimes they also send some of their worship bands audio recordings from live services. I have to admit, after listening to some of the bands more, I am thoroughly impressed! I just wanted to give a quick plug to media section at Mars Hill where you can download the bands live service mixes and sermons and stuff if you’re down with Driscoll

Anyways, there is one song called “Emphasis” that I want to DESPERATELY give props to because of its great biblical lyrics but also awesome rock… not “christian” rock, but LEGIT rock! At least how I would say it! There are two versions, one done by the original writers, Team Strikeforce (yes I know, awesome church band names!) and the other done by E-Pop (something I like just as much if not more).
Just right-click to save.
This song just has this soaring chorus that evokes Ephesians 5:14 “Wake Up O Sleeper, rise from the dead and Christ will shine on you”.
I think it might be possible for me to lead this song someday
If you like their stuff, download more of it on the site
Hallelujah indeed.
